《老那》獲選參與法國南特（Nantes）舉行的 Produire Au Sud 工作坊，導演劉浩及監製鄺珮詩將於 11 月 26 日至 12 月 3 日遠赴法國參與工作坊，與歐洲電影大師交流及呈示作品，並連上「康城監製網絡」（Cannes Producer’s Network），打通《老那》在法國及歐洲的發行網絡！
Addicted to Love has been selected to participate in the Produire Au Sud from 26 November to 2 December 2008 in Nantes, France, in which Director Liu Hao and Producer Teresa Kwong will have the opportunities of meeting European film-making professionals and masters, presenting the project and joining the Cannes Producer’s Network or other festivals. This is definitely a great chance to build up network for the film distribution in the European market.
《老那》從近八十個電影計劃中脫穎而出，喜獲瑞士電影基金 visions sud est 選為本季度資助電影之一。visions sud est 主要資助亞洲、非洲、拉丁美洲及東歐的電影製作，並把它們推廣至全世界，並確保電影在瑞士發行。

We are happy to learn that Addicted to Love has just been selected to be one of the funded film productions by the Swiss fund visions sud est out of other near 80 projects. visions sud est was initiated by the Foundation trigon-film Baden and the Fribourg International Film Festival, with the collaboration of Nyon’s Visions du Réel and the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. It supports film productions from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe, aims at making them visible worldwide and guarantees their distribution in Switzerland.
So, watch out for the film in Europe!

Ten Projects Awarded Funds by The Global Film Initiative
Previous Grantees Receive Awards from Tribeca and Sundance/NHK
San Francisco, CA - July 1, 2008 - The Global Film Initiative announced today that ten filmmakers have been awarded completion funding for their film projects during the Initiative’s Spring 2008 granting-cycle.
“Our Spring grant-recipients represent some of the best filmmaking from around the world,” says Santhosh Daniel, Director of Programs. “The creativity and depth expressed by these filmmakers reflects an obvious talent that deserves to be recognized and supported.”
The ten projects were selected from a group of fifty-two applications, from twenty-eight different countries, for their artistic excellence, accomplished storytelling, and cultural perspective on daily life around the world. Funds received from grants are used to subsidize post-production costs, such as laboratory and sound mixing fees, and access to advanced editing systems.
Since its founding in 2002, the Initiative has awarded more than sixty grants to film projects from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. These grants have supported the works of both emerging and established filmmakers, and are part of the Initiative’s continuing effort to promote narrative storytelling traditions and filmmaking from around the world.
The Spring 2008 grant recipients are:
ADDICTED TO LOVE, Liu Hao (China) Despite social conventions and disapproving families, two elderly friends struggle with Alzheimer’s and a growing attraction for one another.

【新浪娛樂訊】年年歲歲電影節。2008年伊始，聖丹斯電影節又拉開了一年一度的序幕。中國新生代導演劉浩攜劇本《老那》今日啟程赴美參加聖丹斯電影編劇工作坊活動。
聖丹斯國際電影節是全世界首屈一指的獨立製片電影節，從這屆開始聖丹斯將在電影編劇研討會環節中推出13個劇本拍攝計劃，其中包括著名導演斯科特•弗蘭克 (Scott Frank)、保羅•阿塔納索 (Paul Attanasio)、卡錫•萊蒙斯 (Kasi Lemmons)、納奧米•馮納爾•吉倫哈爾 (Naomi Foner Gyllenhaal)、道格•萊特 (Doug Wright)和中國導演劉浩等人的作品。
作為今年唯一入選聖丹斯電影編劇研討會的中國作品《老那》，已在第12屆釜山國際電影節首設的亞洲電影基金 (Asian Cinema Fund)，簡稱 ACF計劃獲得最高獎，當時釜山評委會給出了這樣的評語：從一個嶄新的角度去表達老年人的生活、愛情以及疾病。「尊嚴」成為故事的中心，並交織著父母、兒女與鄰居之間的關係。擺脫一般沉重嚴肅的調子，《老那》充滿幽默感，它具備能感染全球觀眾的力量。釜山獲獎後，劉浩收到了聖丹斯劇本拍攝計畫的邀 請，這意味著從製作資金上，《老那》已經得到國際製作機構的贊助。
